COVID-19 Emergency Rental Assistance Program The Rental Assistance Program is available to renters who have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, who are experiencing housing instability, and whose household income is at or below 80% of area median family income. Applications are now being accepted. APPLY FOR RENTAL ASSISTANCE How it works Tenants and landlords may apply at any time.Tenants and landlords identify the other when applying for assistance. If one party is not yet enrolled, they will be contacted via email and asked to enroll.Once an application for assistance is approved, the tenant and landlord will receive an email indicating the amount of rental assistance provided.Program administrators will pay the awarded amount via electronic payment (ACH) or physical check.
